  • Live Keynotes
  • Pre-recorded author presentations to watch at convenience.
  • Live Q&A opportunities with authors

The sixth Web Audio Conference (WAC) will be held online from the 5th to the 7th of July 2021 at a Virtual Campus.

WAC is an international conference dedicated to web audio technologies and applications. The conference addresses academic research, artistic research, development, design, evaluation and standards concerned with emerging audio-related web technologies such as Web Audio API, Web RTC, WebSockets and Javascript. The conference welcomes web developers, music technologists, computer musicians, application designers, industry engineers, R&D scientists, academic researchers, artists, students and people interested in the fields of web development, music technology, computer music, audio applications and web standards. Barcelona, capital of Catalonia (Spain) is one of the fastest-growing cities in Europe. Host-city of the Summer Olympic in 1992 and the largest mobile gathering worldwide the Mobile World Congress, is now the center of many start-ups and hi-tech businesses focused on music technology such BarcelonaTechCity (organizer of Barcelona TechSpirit), Barcelona MusicHub, Future Music Forum, Mutek, and the worldwide known Primavera Sound and Sónar festivals, consolidating the “Ciudad Condal” as a powerful convergence of music and technology in the music world map.

Well communicated with direct flights from/to the European capitals and international destinations, it is a lively and welcoming city, which offers great restaurants, performance venues, museums and activities of any kind.
